Who is Jacque Bermejo?

Jacque Bermejo became an instant celebrity with her tagline[s] “buti na lang am hir in Dubai! Maybe so many sinners bak der! So yeah deserving wat hapend!”. She posted this obnoxious status message in the famous social networking site Facebook and drew more than a thousand Filipinos in protest against her.

Jacque Bermejo was commenting on the catastrophe brought about by the typhoon Ondoy which caused a number of deaths and casualties in the Philippines. She is a Filipina from Roxas, Capiz who is currently working in the United Arab Emirates in a 3-year old European managed company CASAPRESTIGE.
