In line with my last Farmville update post “How to Get the Crop Whisperer Ribbon”, another question pops-up amongst our fellow farmers, “How Do I Fertilize my Crops in Farmville?”
Fertilizer was introduced into Farmville as part of The Crop Whisperer Ribbon. You cannot buy a Fertilizer in the Farmville Market, purchase it with coins or FV$ or even “cheat” it as of yet. This is a RANDOM event. You may be given [randomly] with Farmville “Super Grow” as you are tending to your neighbor’s crop by removing pests/weeds. The Super Grow fertilizer will appear at the bottom of your screen, near the Fuel.
You are only allowed to fertilize up to 5 plots per neighbor and are given 2 XP for fertilizing each plot (Potential to gain 10 XP per neighbor). You may not fertilize your own farm’s crops.
Fertilized crops are larger in size, sparkle, yield more coins and also yield XP when harvested.
So Remember:
1. Visit your neighbors’ Farm
2. Help your neighbor (Chase away Crows, Gophers, Rake Leaves, remove weeds, etcetera)
3. Farmville will randomly determine whether or not you’ll receive the bags of fertilizer.
- If you don't receive the fertilizer, try to visit another neighbor and start help again
- If you do, you’ll notice a small White and Blue bag on the bottom left hand side of the window, in the place of the fuel tank. The Super Grow bag has a small “x5″ next to it, indicating that you have 5 bags
4. Click on your neighbors’ crop to fertilize it.
5. Each bag will fertilize a single ‘plot’. And it will give you 2 XP for fertilizing each plot.

Farmville has finally added the Indian flag, as well as the Philippine and Portugal flag.
