Migraine-nemy

The discomfort that a migraine can cause is indeed a pain in the neck not to mention the pounding pressure that you can feel near your cranium. What’s more when it hits you at work before all your load of tasks?! A migraine has been and is still my worst enemy every month during my period. Like everyone else, I would always try anything. But I am getting ill at ease with pain relievers. In the interim, Woman’s Day provided a great deal of list of some unexpected ways to ease headaches. Some I would love to try, some that you might consider.

Botox: I know what you are thinking. I too would much consider H20 and caffeine since it’s much cheaper. It really depends on one’s budget and… age. Bye bye pain plus bye bye sagging.

Acupuncture: Would love to try, but I am more afraid of needles.

Sex: Really? Too bad migraine hits me during period. Geesh!

Exercise: The more rigorous the exercise—jogging, fast walking, swimming—the more you’ll reduce pain associated with tension headaches. Sometimes I feel like working out when in pain, but it really is not that easy, moving too much when in terrible pain.

Caffeine: Too much is never good (this applies to almost everything). Drink with caution. I have tried this and it really helped lessen the pain.

Sleep: I love to but I have a problem on sleeping as well.

Aside from taking a lot of pain relievers (midol in particular), fruit juices and water also work for me. Drinking up if not cure can always reduce my discomfort.
