Three witnesses got the scare of their lives when they saw a crocodile floating in the floodwaters sometime after midnight last Monday, September 28, 2009. One among the witnesses, Michael Lambert was able to take a shot of the croc floating and apparently [luckily] not noticing their presence.

According to Lambert in his Facebook, the creature had escaped from the Pasig Rainforest during the typhoon Ondoy, however the Pasig City mayor assured that all crocodiles are still in their cages in the zoo.

The witnesses then conceded that the animal may have come from anywhere, might have come from the zoo or swamps around the area.

Nevertheless, this new discovery of wild animal signals that everyone must still be careful, they might have missed Ondoy, but wild animals like crocs are still wandering.
