Jan Moir is a Daily Mail (UK) columnist who wrote a column questioning the circumstances surrounding Boyzone singer Stephen Gately's death possibly linking it with his (Gately) homosexuality. People are tweeting (twitter.com) their thoughts on her take, which are largely negative. Due to this,
the PCC (Press Complaints Commission) website bugged down largely caused by the volume of traffic it’s getting relating to complains about the article. Nestle and Marks and Spencer’s ads which were featured in the page where the article was posted disassociated themselves with the article so far as quoting that Moir’s article contradicted the company’s values. She was previously associated with The Daily Telegraph and The Observer mainly writing contents focused on restaurants reviews.
