A couple of days ago, during the rage of typhoon Ondoy, my friends posted an update in the famous social networking site Facebook showing Mikey Arroyo buying some hard liquors.
"Was buying food for keeps... then we saw Mikey Arroyo in Rustans Liquor Section asking the salesman for a brand of hard alcoholic drink. Effin Crazy! Just a few kilometers... away from Katipunan, people are needing help for search and rescue, and there he was buying bottles of alcohol"

Just a while ago, another post was shared in the same networking site showing a soldier (a general to be precise) being carried by a civilian.
“A couple of days ago, an embarrasing scene was played on tv when a flip general was carried on someone else shoulder so he wouldnt get wet when he stepped on the boat . The american officer on the other hand waded on the water and stepped on the banka (boat) without any help.”
With such “good governance and care about our people” as well as “excellent parade of ‘tough’ leaders” do we really have problems?

I just watched the Gothowitz Deviation, the first episode where Leonard and Penny are together and it was… strange. It’s kind of odd seeing the two in a “relationship”. Penny was at their apartment making French toast (on Monday which apparently disgusted Sheldon, should be oatmeal for Monday), then Leonard came into the scene with all those sweet-y-sort-of-awkward-moments with Penny, at least for me. Its just probably good to put back all the casual banters between the two.

Mother Nature is on fire! From the deadly storm Ketsana (Typhoon Ondoy) which left the country [Philippines] more than 200 people dead and a number missing, a new fury has been again observed as the victims of the tsunami were swept across the South Pacific. More than 100 people were killed and entire villages were destroyed despite the massive emergency warning last Wednesday in the Samoan Islands.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the victims had only minutes to escape the deadly waves and in some cases did not receive alerts of danger, despite years of work to upgrade early-warning systems across the region.

Three witnesses got the scare of their lives when they saw a crocodile floating in the floodwaters sometime after midnight last Monday, September 28, 2009. One among the witnesses, Michael Lambert was able to take a shot of the croc floating and apparently [luckily] not noticing their presence.
According to Lambert in his Facebook, the creature had escaped from the Pasig Rainforest during the typhoon Ondoy, however the Pasig City mayor assured that all crocodiles are still in their cages in the zoo.
The witnesses then conceded that the animal may have come from anywhere, might have come from the zoo or swamps around the area.
Nevertheless, this new discovery of wild animal signals that everyone must still be careful, they might have missed Ondoy, but wild animals like crocs are still wandering.

People have gone way too far. Thousands and thousands of us have already joined the orgy of bashing and hatred directed at Jacque (Jackie) Bermejo and to her current controversy. We cannot make her “a punching bag for our losses”. Instead of flooding messages on someone else’s account and crying awful words why don’t we just focus on how we can help our countrymen recover from such a disaster (Ondoy Typhoon).

I am issuing this statement to clear my name in the current controversy in which I allegedly posted a highly insensitive and offensive message on the social networking website, Facebook, in relation to the victims of typhoon Ondoy that recently struck parts of the Philippines.
About two years ago, an anonymous source created these accounts using my identity, posting my personal details, my real pictures captioned roughly and attacking other people. Because of these incidents, I reported such abuses and sent my credentials to the administrators of such sites, particularly Facebook. I have been abused and am still being abused online in social networking websites such as Facebook, Friendster, Multiply etc.
In the early stages, I was advised by close friends to ignore the situation, saying this would simply go away. Unfortunately, it has not stopped. Hence, I filed a complaint with the Dubai Police about eight months ago hoping they could help me with my problem. Should anyone wish to check my statement, my case is still under investigation with said authorities.
Time passed and these sites continued to generate malicious, obscene and cruel messages that are widely exposed and relayed to the public under my name.
Yesterday, September 27th 2009, I received phone calls from my close friends regarding very alarming posts in the above mentioned websites that directly offended flood victims as a result of typhoon Ondoy..
These malicious statement(s) which are posted under account names Jacque or Jackie are not of my doing. It is unfortunate that such statements were maliciously attributed to me and I do sympathize and understand the adverse and somehow verbally violent reaction that has been elicited by such insensitive statements or posts. Rest assured, I have taken every legal step that can be done in this regard.
I too, have become a victim as much as those who may have lost their lives and properties to such a devastating natural calamity. This recent controversy has greatly affected my reputation, my family, and my friends. I am devastated and shocked at the extent my character, my personal information and private space have been violated.
I have a deep respect and regard for my country. I am proud to be a Filipino and would never say or do anything to harm the interest of my country or countrymen. I have also had the privilege of participating in civic-oriented activities in Dubai, particularly in trying to help my fellow countrymen seek employment during the height of mass layoffs brought about by the ongoing global financial crisis, as well as those seeking employment for the first time. Making a mockery of any unfortunate incidents befalling any of my fellow Filipinos is simply contrary to my character. I condemn the person or persons behind these malicious acts to impute damage on my integrity and I hope that you can dig deep into your hearts and minds to truly find the truth in all these.

We still need to face the aftermath of the enormous downpour last September 26, 2009 and seek aid for those tens of thousands who were marooned by flashfloods. Jacque Bermejo became an instant celebrity with her tagline[s] “buti na lang am hir in Dubai! Maybe so many sinners bak der! So yeah deserving wat hapend!”. She posted this obnoxious status message in the famous social networking site Facebook and drew more than a thousand Filipinos in protest against her.
Jacque Bermejo was commenting on the catastrophe brought about by the typhoon Ondoy which caused a number of deaths and casualties in the Philippines. She is a Filipina from Roxas, Capiz who is currently working in the United Arab Emirates in a 3-year old European managed company CASAPRESTIGE.

One of the many proofs that there is no one exceptional when the fury of Mother Nature hits. For those who do not know, Christine Reyes is a known Filipina actress who has starred the reality TV show Starstruck. She is best known on television shows such as Banana Split, Kahit Isang Saglit and Eva Fonda. In the picture, the actress is stranded in her home and she ended up staying on the roof. It took a while before she was rescued.

GMA News described “Ondoy” [the typhoon] [international code name Ketsana] as an Epic Flood in Metro Manila caused by record rainfall. “The rainfall brought by typhoon "Ondoy" to Metro Manila and nearby areas in a span of six hours on Saturday was the most in recorded history, surpassing the previous record for the metropolis in 1967”.
The incessant downpour brought by tropical storm has turned several parts of Metro Manila into a virtual water world.

Aside from Katherine Heigl taking a break, Ellen Pompeo will be having a maternity leave so she will fade into the background as well, and Patrick Dempsey needs to shoot a movie later this season [I’m fine with no Izzie and Meredith drama, but no McDreamy? :-( ]. New doctors, administrators and nurses [Robert Baker, Jesse Williams, Zehetner) are expected to fill in the gaps. Producers are working to keep Meredith Grey in as many episodes as possible. The Seattle Grace-Mercy West merger storyline is part of a long-term plan hatched by producers and ABC execs to make Grey's Anatomy a viable going concern for years to come. The writers will have a large, endlessly expandable palette of characters and situations with which to work no matter who’s unavailable.

Katherine Heigl is taking a five-episode hiatus from the ABC drama to go shoot the Greg Berlanti-directed romantic comedy "Life as We Know It". Heigl's absence will be explained on screen, although it's not clear what prompts Izzie to take off. (Marital trouble with Alex? A trip home to see mom? A Denny sighting in the Caribbean?)

My guess is Taub, just does not have an interesting story line going right now, still I wish none of them will leave the show. *crossfingers House moves in with Wilson after he returns from the Asylum, one of the two major life changes the doctor makes early in the season, the other one is cooking! Moving in is great, but cooking lessons?! Interesting!

The largest baby in Indonesia was born yesterday and weighed a staggering 19 pounds. (Scare the pants off every expectant mother!) The baby top the 15 pound Indonesian baby born last 2007. While stumbling for some eerie mammals, I came across an article featuring, “The World's Strongest Dog”, a female Whippet named Wendy. I was amazed by her built. I wonder how much this dog eats a day because she certainly looks bigger than anyone in the Power Gym.
At first glance, many would assume that the image has been manipulated. However, according to a July 2007 Daily Mail article the photograph is genuine and depicts a real dog, a hulking canine in that case. Her owner claims that she is a friendly animal who "likes nothing better than a good back scratch and isn't shy about sitting in your lap to ask for one". And far from living a spartan life as a Russian Army dog, Wendy enjoys a relaxed and healthy life on a farm in Victoria, Canada.
There have been many contenders for the title of "Strongest dog in the World", but no clear and confirmed winner has so far emerged. And, in fact, reports about Wendy make no claims that she is the world's strongest dog.

Facebook is the most popular Social networking service currently and possibly the best way to keep in touch with your friends all over the world. However I am getting really annoyed of some nifty things most of the people are flooding in my Facebook account. Most of the time I get more than 80% of notifications and updates from stupid Facebook apps (i.e. quizzes!), and miss the more important friends updates. Over the last months since I started engaging in this network, more and more friends of mine have started playing Mafia, Farmville, etcetera, and has alleviates (as well) my frustration.
Good thing I have finally realized the Hide feature and so far I AM loving it!

Dr. Emil Hamilton and Chloe begin working together in the Watchtower. Released from the black orb, Major Zod's soldiers initially turn on him when he fails to provide answers as to why none of them have the true powers of a Kryptonian like they should. Eventually, Zod regains their trust. A Kryptonian woman from the future returns with Lois in the hope of finding Clark and killing him. When the two meet, the assassin accidentally kills herself, but not before revealing that Clark will cause the destruction of Earth. Just as she is falling asleep, Lois has sporadic visions of future events.
Kudos to all the people behind "The Big Bang Theory" and to the casts who can amazingly regurgitate most of the dialogues that is impossible to even comprehend. The casting was so perfect. Sheldon [Jim Parson, who unfortunately did not get that Emmy] was still the most hilarious of them all. How come Penny wasn’t even shocked of the beards?
Anyhow, there’s this buzzing news around the blogophiles where Sheldon is gonna hook up with someone in the show (could be Leslie, or Penny?). And no one deem that Leonard and Penny’s “relationship” is going to last. *aw
