His desire to make amends with the daughter he disowned last spring when he learned that she had taken a female lover. Though Callie and her father exchanged harsh words and parted ways back then -- forcing Callie to cede her status as a Trust Fund Baby -- Mr. Torres is now determined to heal the rift.
